The Laurent House has a wonderful opportunity to receive a matching grant from the Pritzker Military Foundation of up to $50K in an effort to retire the mortgage at the Laurent House. In 2013, the foundation took out a mortgage of nearly $400K to fund an extensive renovation project with the unexpected collapse of the roof of the house. That mortgage is now down to approximately $135K and achieving this fundraising goal would give us $100K off of that debt, nearly eliminating our mortgage. The Pritzker Military Foundation (PMF) is giving us until the end of November to raise these needed funds. One of the restrictions of the grant is that PMF wants to see new donor monies raised. Your help is greatly appreciated and much needed as we work to secure the financial future of the Laurent House by being free of this monthly debt.

The preservation and protection of the Laurent House is possible because of generous individuals, corporations, and foundations. Ken and Phyllis Laurent were meticulous stewards of their beloved home. The Laurent House Foundation is dedicated to carrying on the same stewardship that was begun more than 70 years ago.
